Lactiplantibacillus pingfangensis (ping. fang. en’sis. N. L. masc. adj. pingfangensis, pertaining to a district in Harbin city, China). Basonym: Lactobacillus pingfangensis Liu and Gu 2019, 7 VP Growth is observed at 30 and 37 but not at 45 ° C; DL-lactic acid is produced from a wide range of hexoses and disaccharides but not from pentoses [233]. The genome size of the type strain is 2.90 Mbp; the mol % G + C content of DNA is 44.2.
