Sampling

Fish were collected from several bottom- and pelagic trawls in the Wadden Sea (inshore) and North Sea (offshore) adjacent to the island of Texel in the western Wadden Sea, The Netherlands. In addition, fish caught in a fyke net located at the south of Texel were added to the sample population.
