With the funding of Taiwan e-Learning and Digital Archives Program (TELDAP), the National Museum of Natural Science has digitized and shared specimen data on fungi, plants, insects, mollusks, echinoderms, fish, amphibians, reptiles, birds, dolphins and whales, and other mammals. Some geological information is also provided. The insect specimens include Lepidoptera, Coleoptera, and Hemiptera. The plant specimens include low-elevation plants and vascular plants in Taiwan. The specimen collection time is between 1950 and 2009; the main locality is Taiwan. The lepidopteran insect has the largest number of specimens, followed by order Urticales of plants. A total of 41,151 records have been exported to TaiBIF.Sampling Description
