Algae samples were collected from unimpacted wetlands from 2003 to 2006 as part of a DOC-funded programme aimed at increasing knowledge of the diversity of small aquatic organisms in wetlands. Sample collection was from defined water bodies, and samples comprised algae-covered plants (i.e., epiphytic algae) or small cores of surface sediment.Taxonomic Coverages
