Organized as part of the CESP project “Cross-continental partnership to investigate data mining approaches for impactful data use cases and stories” (CESP 2022-005), SANBI-GBIF collaborated with GBIF-Spain to conduct this five-day training workshop on big data in South Africa.
The workshop focused on topics such as artificial intelligence (AI) and ‘big data’, and brought together key experts from Spain and South Africa, and trained 22 national participants.
All the course content developed, and curriculum is available via the GBIF Spain eLearning Platform.
