The Barbados Museum and Historical Society (BMHS) is a non-profit, non-governmental organization with a membership of over 1,000 individuals and companies. It is the foremost authority on Barbadian identity, culture, social and natural history, housing a comprehensive and wide ranging collection of biodiversity information ranging from the early years of the museum in 1930 and beyond.
