distribution
Distribution. Cosmopolitan between 40 ° N and 45 ° S, it is commonly found in the California Current area (Ibarra Rivera & Hendrickx 2008). The specimens reported herein were collected in the known distribution area of this species, off the west coast of the Baja California Peninsula (Fig. 7). Distribution pattern observed by Ibarra Rivera & Hendrickx (2008) off western Baja California almost matched what is reported herein for this species, but with sampling stations much further away from the coast.
