TURKEY: Mersin, G ̹ zelyayla, Eskig ̹ zle Mevkii, 12.07.1999, leg. H. Sevgili, 1 male recorded; Mersin, G ̹ zelyayla, Eskig ̹ zle Mevkii, 01.08.2020 (37.045 ºN, 34.496 ºE), leg. H. Sevgili & O. Sevgili, 1 male recorded. The song is quite similar to that of P. armeniacus. In both recordings of this species a continuous series of syllables (up to 35 s) is heard, produced with SRRs of 9.2 – 10.4 Hz (T = 29 ºC; Fig. 6). The syllables had durations of ca. 67 – 85 ms and contained 6 impulses, resulting in a mean interval of 14 ms between the impulses. The spectrum of the song had its peak between 30 and 40 kHz (Fig. 9). For details of the stridulatory file see Table 2, Fig. 5.
