diagnosis
Diagnosis. 1) body orange, except the head, hind leg (proximal part of coxa orange), and tergites VI + black; 2) fore wing blackish, with the yellowish hyaline band between the junction of vein RA up to pterostigma until half vein M, pterostigma black; 3) head, in dorsal view, with gena slightly convex behind eyes; 4) face sculptured below the insertion of antennae, with longitudinal carina in the middle region; 5) occipital carina projected, not curved upwards, with a concavity in the apex dorsally; 6) pronotum with the pocket-like structure reduced longitudinally; 7) epicnemial carina absent; 8) sternite I with a ventral projection, spine-like, posteriorly; 9) female with tarsal claw with more or less square lobe, and with apex overtaking the lobe (tarsal claw single in males); 10) female with ovipositor sheath about 1.0 × as long as the hind tibia.
distribution
Distribution. Brazil and Peru. This is the first record of the species and genus for Bolivia (Fig. 7 E). Biological notes. Host unknown.
