description
Description of male (Fig. 70) (First record). Similar to female. Antenna with 20 flagellomeres (Fig. 72); flagellomeres 3 to 6 with distinct subapical finger-shaped structures on outer surface (Fig. 72). Malar space about 0.4 × as long as basal mandibular width. Hypostomal carina absent, this area finely striate. Notaulus and foveate groove absent. First tergite of metasoma laterally mostly smooth, before glymma partly striate. Thyridial depression transverse.
diagnosis
Diagnosis. Head, in dorsal view, distinctly rounded posterior to eyes (Fig. 64); gena about 0.8 × as long as eye width. Antennal flagellum more or less filiform, brownish black or black, with 17 – 19 flagellomeres in female (Fig. 73) and 20 flagellomeres in male (Fig. 72). Malar space short, about half as long as basal mandibular width. Head and mesosoma evenly granulate, dull, impunctate (Figs 71, 75). Notaulus absent or with weak wrinkle or wrinkles on anterolateral side of mesoscutum (Figs 71, 75). Foveate groove of mesopleuron absent or shallow, with stronger granulation and weak wrinkles (Fig. 75). Propodeum mediodorsally with longitudinal wrinkles, thus basal area is indistinct (Fig. 76). Metacarpus not reaching tip of the fore wing (Figs 69, 70). First metasomal tergite smooth laterally and dorsally (sometimes with short striae laterally before glymma), trapeziform in cross-section centrally; glymma deep (Fig. 75). Second tergite about as long as anteriorly broad. Metasoma dark brown to brownish black, ventrally yellowish (Figs 69, 70). Ovipositor with strong dorsal subapical notch (Fig. 74), sheath about 1.8 × as long as first tergite (Fig. 69).
