RECORDED ON THE FALKLAND ISLANDS AS. — Bryum capillare Hedw. NOTES Although widespread in many parts of the world outside the tropics, Rosulabryum capillare is relatively uncommon on the Falkland Islands. It is more common in temperate regions of southern South America. The species is found in South America, Tasmania, New Zealand including the Auckland Islands, and South Africa, but is absent from the subantarctic islands. A cosmopolitan / southern pantemperate species.
