Diagnosis. As for the genus, see above.
distribution
Distribution. Cameroon (Mount Cameroon). Collecting circumstances. All specimens of Ewoma longiscapa available for this study were collected using flight interception traps (FITs) on the eastern slope of Mount Cameroon, close to the Bokwango Village at an elevation of about 1000 m. The close surrounding of the village, towards the East border of Mt. Cameroon National Park is agriculturally used landscape, a mosaic of farmland, small fragments of forest, and some irregularly distributed robust solitary trees, turning to primary rainy forest upwards. Although the number of collected pselaphine beetles was very high as well as their diversity at both species and genus level, surprisingly, no specimen of E. longiscapa was collected on main research plots on the southern slope of Mt. Cameroon (see Introduction) so far. Natural history. No other details concerning the ecology of this species are known.
etymology
Etymology. The named is referring to the very long scape of the species.
