iRecord

iRecord is a biodiversity data recording website for naturalists and citizen scientists promoted by the National Biodiversity Network (NBN) in the United Kingdom.

The data recorded through the system go through a series of automatic data quality routines, similar to the ones performed by the NBN record cleaner (http://www.nbn.org.uk/News/Latest-news/NBN-Record-Cleaner-rules-added-to-iRecord.aspx).

There is plenty of documentation available on how to use iRecord at http://www.nbn.org.uk/Tools-Resources/Recording-Resources/Online-Recording-Toolkit/iRecord-training-material.aspx.

The goal of iRecord is to make it easier for wildlife sightings to be collated, checked by experts and made available to support research and decision-making at local and national levels. Join iRecord now to share your sightings with the recording community, explore dynamic maps and graphs of your data and make a real contribution to science and conservation.
