Releve data from a historical-ecological study of the amphibious vegetation of shallow lakes at Turnhout, Belgium. Releves are comprised from the study period (1999, by Floris Vanderhaeghe) and from older times (1973-1993, by Geert De Blust and including 1 releve by Herman Stieperaere). Many of these phytocoenoses belong to the Littorelletea class.

Classic releve with the modified scale of Barkman, Doing en Segal (Barkman et al. 1964).Quality Control
Quality control took place to check consistency between data on paper and data entered in the original Turboveg database.Method steps
- Vegetation releve data was recorded first in a local Turboveg database, and later on migrated to the InboVeg database. This data was mapped to Darwin Core by creating a specific view. We mapped the data to Darwin core event, Darwin Core occurrence extension and Darwin Core Measurements or Facts for the specific Relevé data. In our sandbox ipt the releve data is also mapped to Darwin Core GBIF releve. This data is only available on http://oefendata.inbo.be/ipt/resource?r=inboveg_niche_vlaanderen
