Study Extent

A single transect was laid from the starting point with the aid of a hand held Compas which helped with mapping out transect directions.10m by 10m quadrats were laid out along the transect at a distance of 50m between the quadrats. In each quadrat, coordinates and altitude were captured using a hand held GPS. This was done at the middle of each plot. Plant species present within the quadrat were recorded.
