This dataset provides a list of vascular plant species that are endemic to Andalusia. It includes a total of 364 species (or 394 taxa if infra-specific ranks are considered), distributed across 160 genera belonging to 44 families. Those species that, although they have a significant presence in Andalusia, extend beyond its borders, have been excluded. This checklist is based on the book by Devesa & Martínez-Sagarra (2023), Plantas vasculares endémicas de Andalucía. It represents, therefore, an approximation that has required a prior taxonomic assessment of the taxa described for this territory until the date of the publication of the book.Taxonomic Coverages
The dataset covers vascular plant species endemic to this territory, including gymnosperms and, for the most part, angiosperms.
