Host specificity of sap-sucking insects in Papua New Guinean tropical rainforest. This project focused on Auchenorrhyncha nymphs (Hemiptera), which were hand-collected from 14 focal tree species and reared to adults in cages. Collections were made twice a week in the surroundings of Ohu village, Madang Province. Sampling effort corresponded to approximately 1500 m2 of foliage inspected per plant species and included numerous individual trees within approximately 500 ha of primary and secondary forest. The dataset relates to the reared nymph data in Dem et al (2013) J Trop Ecol.Sampling Description
