Organized as part of the BIFA project “Digitization and mobilization of specimen data from Indonesia's Herbarium Bogoriense”,(BIFA6_014) and with Research Center for Biosystematics and Evolution, BRIN, this workshop was held for students and researchers interested in mobilizing their data.
The workshop covered how to manage the herbarium collections from the field to prepare for the mobilization of data and what kinds of taxonomic data that important to be a part of published datasets. The topic of DNA analysis was inserted for the purpose that in the future dataset will also provide information on DNA barcoding as backbone information of Indonesian plants.
This event was attended 30 participants. Mostly taxonomists from internal and external Research Center.
