diagnosis
Diagnosis. FEMALE. Palp femoragenu with weak lateral notches. Palpalae l ” G 2 times as long as dF. Body, including gnathosoma, 330 – 350 long. Setae h 2 130 – 170 long. Vulva with long lateral folds reaching posterior margin of idiosoma. Genua I and II with 3 setae (v ” absent). Apical segment of legs III with 5 setae, apical segment of legs IV with 4 setae.
materials_examined
Type material. Holotype female (ZISP T-H- 5) and 7 female paratypes (ZISP AVB 14 - 0725 - 007) from Alauda arvensis Linnaeus (Passeriformes: Alaudidae), RUSSIA: Moscow Province, Oksky State Nature Biosphere Reserve, 25 April 1961, coll. unknown. Type deposition. ZISP. Hosts and distribution. This species is known only from the type host, Alauda arvensis (Alaudidae) from Europe (Bochkov 2000; see Table 1).
