discussion
Lactobacilluspasteurii (pas. teu‘ri. i. N. L. gen. masc. n. pasteurii of Pasteur). Lactobacilluspasteurii produces mainly D (−) - lactic acid from glucose; acid isalso produced from ribose, fructose, mannose, cellobiose, maltose, lactose and sucrose [93]. The genomesize is 1.87 Mbp and the mol % G + C content of DNA is 38.5.
