discussion
Remarks. Some of Exochus species have sharply banded occiput which looks like occipital carina depending of source of stereomicroscope light, angle of observation and magnification degree. Thus, couplet 65 of the key of Tolkanitz (2007 a) can not be always interpreted correctly, probably even by the author of the key.

Distribution. Currently known from Belarus, Germany, Hungary, Mongolia, Russia (European part, Zabaykalsky Krai, Sakhalin Region), Ukraine (Tolkanitz 2007 a).
