description
Description Female and male, length of the body 4 – 4.5 mm. Colour. Body largely black with following brownish red: tegulae, femur, tibia and tarsi of fore and mid-leg, hind femur and tarsi, hind tibia dorsally. Body densely pubescent. Head. Triangular, slightly wider than high. Antennae long and slender. Clava 1 × as long as preceding segments combined. POL 4 × OOL. Mesosoma. Pronotum, mesoscutum and scutellum punctate. Interstices smooth and shiny. The apex of scutellum slightly emarginate. Fore wing with marginal vein removed from the margin. Coxa of the fore leg on lateral side rugose. Metasoma. T 1 smooth and shiny and without basal carina.

Distribution INDIA. Andaman and Nicobar island, Bihar, Goa (new record), Gujarat, Karnataka, Kerala, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, Tripura, West Bengal (Gowriprakash et al. 2016, 2018; Daniel and Ramaraju 2017 a, 2017 b).
