Distribution. Widely distributed, abundant Holarctic species: Canada, USA (many localities, including Alaska), Europe, Caucasus, Turkey, Kazakhstan, Russian Siberia and Far East, Mongolia, Japan (Hokkaido I., North and central Honshū I.).
