Type locality. North east of the Azores (44 ° 20 ’ N 19 ° 31 ’ W). Material examined. Coral Sea. 1 small male, 10 mm, dissected 5 slides, AM P. 68512, due east of Mooloolaba, Queensland (26 ° 36.23 ' S 153 ° 50.23 ' E), 1006 m, baited trap, 2 – 3 August 1994, coll. J. K. Lowry and K. Dempsey, MV Capricorn I (trap 3, stn QLD- 1141). Depth range. 750 − 4500 m depth (Thurston, 2001).
