diagnosis
Diagnosis. Surstylus with approximately 8 apically blunt, peg-like teeth (ch. 37 - 0); both anterior postgonites basally with strongly sclerotized, large flaps asymmetric in shape. Supplementary description (not repeating characters common to P. spinosa). Supracervical setae 27 – 29. Arista with arb = 2 / 0. Cibarial, medial sensilla approximately 9 per side; posterior sensilla approximately 6 per side. Abdominal sternite III wider than long (ch. 22 - 1). Pregonite with sensilla on submedial portion (ch. 52 - 1). Posterior postgonite only on right side of aedeagal sheath; left, anterior postgonite apically strongly sclerotized and bifurcated, but right one not. Specimen examined. Malaysia: holotype ♂, Silau Silau Trail, Mt. Kinabalu, Sabah, 27. vi. 1972, E. Momma leg. (SEHU).
