Isolated as spoilage organisms from beer and from human faeces. They are also found in grape marmalade, dairy products, jangajji (a Korean fermented food), fermented vegetables, fermented fruits, fermented dates, rice bran pickles, silage, cocoa beans, fermented sourdough, fermented slurry, faecalmicrobiota of healthy dogs, traditional fura processing, wine and sow milk.
