discussion
The original description states ‘ Reared from blackberry gall, Diastrophus cuscutaeformis O. S. ’ All known species of Agrostocynips are leafminer parasitoids (Diptera: Agromyzidae); it is probable the described specimens (holotype and paratype) emerged from leafminers accompanying the vegetation in which the gall was formed.
