Pacific Leopard Flounder or Speckled Flounder. To 23.5 cm (9.3 in) TL (Nieto-Navarro et al. 2010). Boca de Carrizal (23 ° 42 ’ N, 110 ° 38 ’ W), southern Baja California (Castro-Aguirre 1992) to Peru (Robertson and Allen 2002), including Gulf of California (Hensley in Fischer et al. 1995), and Islas Galápagos (Grove and Lavenberg 1997). Benthic; depth: 1 – 121 m (3 – 397 ft) (min.: Robertson and Allen 2002; max.: Hensley in Fischer et al. 1995).
