description
Barberfish. To 20.7 cm (8.1 in) TL (Nieto-Navarro et al. 2010). Islas San Benito and Isla de Cedros, central Baja California (Ramírez-Valdez et al. 2015), and as far northward on mainland as Punta Abreojos (26 ° 43 ’ N, 113 ° 31 ’ W) (Personal communication: Scripps Institution of Oceanography Fish Collection, La Jolla, California) to Pucusana, Peru (Chirichigno and Vélez 1998), including Gulf of California and Islas Galápagos (Grove and Lavenberg 1997).
