Distribution. Transeurasiatic, subboreal. Kaliningradskaya Oblast, central European regions, West Caucasian region, Middle and S Urals, southern part of Western Siberia, Altai, Baikal region, Amurskaya Oblast, Jewish Autonomous Oblast, southern part of Khabarovsky Kray, Primorye, Sakhalin, Kuriles. Outside Russia: Europe, Crimea, Turkey, Transcaucasia, N Iran, Mongolia, N, NE, SW and central China, Korea, Japan (Hokkaido, Honshu, Shikoku, Kyushu, Tsushima, Isl.). Hostplants: different dicotyledonous herbs (Clematis, Taraxacum, Aster, Artemisia, Senecio, Stachys, Vicia, Viola, Origanum, Valeriana, Veronica, Plantago, Lythrum, Poa, Filipendula), shrubs (Ligustrum, Vaccinium myrtillus, Lonicera) and trees (Alnus, Crataegus) (Beljaev 2016).
