description
D i s t r i b u t i o n: Austria, Bulgaria, Romania, Slovakia, Moldova, Crimea, and Azerbaijan. Here this species is recorded for the first time in Spain. H o s t s: Eptesicus serotinus (Schreber), Myotis daubentonii (Kuhl), Myotis myotis (Borkhausen), Plecotus auritus (Linnaeus), P. austriacus, Pipistrellus pipistrellus (Chiroptera: Vespertilionidae), R. ferrumequinum, Rhinolophus hipposideros (Bechstein) (Chiroptera: Rhinolophidae), Arvicola terrestris (Linnaeus) (Rodentia: Cricetidae). Here this species is recorded for the first time from Pipistrellus kuhlii. In Spain this host species roosts in crevices of buildings, rocks and trees, as well as tree hollows and bat-boxes (Ibañez 1998).
