description
Cells are aerobic, Gramstainingpositive, flagellated and rod shaped. Colonies are circular, convex, glistening and yellow colored after incubation for 4 days on MH agar at 30 ℃. In the API 20 NE system, positive reaction for esculin hydrolysis, β-galactosidase activity and utilization of D-glucose (weak), Larabinose, Dmannose, Dmannitol and Dmaltose (weak). In the API 20 NE system, negative reaction for nitrate reduction, indole production, glucose fermentation, arginine dihydrolase, urease activity, gelatin hydrolysis, oxidase activity and utilization of N acetylglucosamine, potassium gluconate, capric acid, adipic acid, malic acid, trisodium citrate and phenylacetic acid. Strain 19 D 2 C 13 (= NIBRBAC 000503269) was isolated from soil around the Dong River, Gangwon Province, Korea (37 ° 18 ′ 48.5 ″ N 128 ° 37 ′ 37.6 ″ E).
