In the API 20 NE system, positive reaction for nitrate reduction, esculin hydrolysis and β-galactosidase activity. In the API 20 NE system, negative reaction for indole production, glucose fermentation, arginine dihydrolase, urease activity, gelatin hydrolysis, oxidase activity and utilization of D-glucose, L-arabinose, D-mannose, Dmannitol, N acetylglucosamine, Dmaltose, potassium gluconate, capric acid, adipic acid, malic acid, trisodium citrate and phenylacetic acid.
